Since 2023, our mission is to provide a safe space for Greensboro SCALE Academy girls to seek guidance from a female role model, such as a first responder, teacher, or counselor in order to prepare girls to return to their primary school with the resources and opportunities to fulfill their highest social, behavioral, and academic potential.

The Ladies of SCALE mentors meet with the middle and high school girls every Friday from 2-3PM. Every month is assigned a topic such as self-awareness, self-esteem, leadership, decision making, etc. Beginning in January of 2024, we will have female entrepreneurs speak at our meetings, regarding their business and personal success.
* SCALE Greensboro is an alternative school program with Guilford County Schools that is designed to meet the educational needs of students who have not adapted behaviorally or who are not benefiting from the regular school program. The philosophy of this program is based on the strong belief in the inherent worth and potential of every student, regardless of past behaviors, and the premise that every student has the right to an appropriate education.*
The primary focus of the Ladies of SCALE mentorship curriculum is to prepare girls to return to their primary school by providing them with necessary tools and resources to fulfill their highest social, behavioral, and academic potential. We achieve this mission by providing weekly mentorship with female Greensboro first responders and school staff.
